Arabic Language Lecturer

The Program in Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies in the Department of Classics at Notre Dame invites applications for a full-time lecturer in Arabic language to begin August 2017. The position has a one-year renewable contract. Successful applicants will have at least an M.A. in linguistics, literature, Middle Eastern Studies, or relevant field, as well as preparation in communicative language pedagogy. Successful applicants will also have native or near native fluency in Modern Standard Arabic, at least one dialect, and English, and some experience teaching Arabic at beginning and intermediate levels.
