    Department of Near Eastern Studies University of Michigan Arabic Lecturer Position

    The Department of Near Eastern Studies at the University of Michigan announces the position of Lecturer I in Arabic, effective September 1, 2011. 

    Requirements: M.A. or Ph.D. in Arabic language, linguistics, or language pedagogy; preferably two years of language teaching experience at the college level; and native or near-native competence in Arabic and English. 

    Please send a letter of application and three letters of reference, and videotape if available, not to exceed 30 minutes, to: Professor Michael Bonner, Chair, Department of Near Eastern Studies, University of Michigan, 4127 Thayer Building, 202 S. Thayer Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48104-1608. Review of applications will begin on June 1, 2011, and will continue until the position is filled.
