Cornell University - Temporary Arabic Position

The Department of Near Eastern Studies at Cornell University wishes to identify individuals interested in temporary full-time or part-time Teaching Associate or Visiting Lecturer positions to teach Arabic Language. The successful candidate will have professional teaching experience in higher education, and native or near-native proficiency in Arabic and English.  Preference will be given to candidates with a B.A., M.A. or Ph.D. degree or foreign equivalent in the target language or linguistics, Foreign Language Education or a related field. Level of appointment (Teaching Associate/Visiting Lecturer) will be based upon academic credentials and prior teaching experience.  Interested candidates should submit electronically to https://academicjobsonline.org/ajo/jobs/9129: 1) a letter of application, 2) curriculum vitae in English, and 3) the names, addresses and phone numbers of two references.
