Lecturer of Arab Culture/Society and Arabic Language

The University of Southern California’s interdisciplinary Middle East Studies Program in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences in Los Angeles, California, is seeking to hire a full-time, teaching-track lecturer to teach courses on Arab state/society/culture and Arabic language. The position will commence in August 2017.

Requirements: Ph.D. in a social science or humanities discipline with a focus on the MENA region; native or near-native fluency in Arabic; demonstrated ability to teach Arabic language (including one colloquial dialect).
