The Department of World Languages and Literatures in Dedman College at Southern Methodist University seeks a full-time, non-tenure-track professor of the practice in French and Arabic beginning fall semester 2014. Two-year contract with possibility of subsequent three-year contract renewals. M.A. or equivalent in French or Arabic required; Ph.D. a plus. We seek candidates with demonstrated excellence in teaching a variety of language and culture courses at the college level and with training in second language acquisition and pedagogy. Native or near-native proficiency in French, Arabic, and English required.
