Visiting Assistant Professor of Arabic Language and Literature Franklin & Marshall College

The Arabic Program at Franklin & Marshall College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Arabic Language and Literature/ Cultural Studies beginning Fall 2014 pending final administrative approval. Position is renewable for a second year if candidate demonstrates teaching excellence and/or continued administrative approval. Preference will be given to applicants with the PhD, but ABD's will be considered at the rank of Visiting Instructor. Teaching load is 3/2 and the candidate should be able to teach all levels of Arabic, although primary duties will be teaching upper-level courses including literature and culture courses in Arabic and English at the undergraduate level.
