Dr. Daniel J. Reed is the Testing Director for the English Language Center at Michigan State University (MSU) and an affiliated faculty member with MSU’s PhD program in Second Language Studies.  He has played major roles in the development of proficiency tests in more than half-a-dozen languages and has conducted research on language aptitude and the learning of less commonly taught languages.  The ELC testing team he heads develops exams at the B2 and C2 levels of the Common European Framework and administers them to approximately 10,000 students in Greece annually.
