Visiting Lecturer in Arabic
The Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at the University of Florida invites applicants for a fulltime visiting lecturer position in Arabic Language, to begin August 2013. Teaching load will be determined by departmental needs, but is expected to be three courses per semester. Applicants should have native or near-native fluency in Standard Arabic, an Arabic dialect, and English, and instructional training and experience in teaching Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced language courses. Minimum requirement is an M.A., and a specialization in Arabic Studies (Literature or Linguistics) or related field is preferred. Salary is competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience and includes a full benefits package.
