The Abraham Joshua Heschel School, located in New York City, is an independent Jewish school, N-12, unaffiliated with any single movement or synagogue. The Abraham Joshua Heschel High School seeks a part-time Arabic teacher beginning Fall 2016. Applicants must have an interactive approach to teaching that encourages authentic communication between students. An MA is preferable and at least two years of teaching experience at the high school or college level is required. The ideal candidate will be familiar with ACTFL standards, and have experience creating curriculum.
